Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful experience at the Ferraro Tennis Academy in May 2025 for 6 days. There were 4 of us in our group of tennis players (3.5 & 4.0 USTA ratings). We got a lot of personalized tennis instruction from our 2 instructors, 2x a day. The tennis instruction was incredible helpful. It was an all inclusive package with tennis, food & lodging. The food was good, especially the breakfasts, with 3 meals each day each with a few options. The housekeepers were very helpful with laundry & our individual, rustic cabins provided a nice break. The academy is not fancy and well priced for everything. The location is beautiful and flying in and out of Alacante wasn't a problem. There is also, we learned, a train from Madrid.

Experiencia fantástica: I attended a week-long adult tennis camp here with three of my friends and highly recommend it. The camp is in a serene setting and provides a friendly, warm, family-like atmosphere and service while delivering world-class coaching. We had a horrible travel experience (the airline's fault) getting there and everyone was so caring and accommodating from the front desk, to the housekeeping, to the coaches. Speaking of the coaches, I have to state how wonderful Pablo and Gabriel were to us. We received very individualized attention. They managed to challenge us while also accommodating our skill level and moods on any particular day. We were able to choose which surface to play on and give input into what we wanted to concentrate on. I have been told by many people that my tennis improved after attending. Each of us had our own accommodations and the meals and drinks were included. It's a delightful place to spend a week, improve your tennis, and relax and all for a reasonable price.

Experiencia fantástica: A group of us attended the Adult tennis camp for a full week of incredible tennis. We arrived on Sunday and quickly settled into our on site accommodations. Everyone had a separate cabin with a/c, daily housekeeping , towel warmer and great closet space. We had 2 lessons per day with Pablo and Gabriel sharpening our skills. They were great at meeting us at our current skill level but challenging us to improve. We were able to play on 3 different court surfaces during the week. The included meals were very good with the highlight being the morning coffee and breakfast buffet. The housekeeping staff also provides a next day laundry service which really helps when traveling. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Our family had a wonderful experience at Ferrero Tennis Academy. We went with our sons (age 9 and 6) for a weekend and the staff was very kind, thoughtful, and flexible in creating a program that worked for both the adults and kids. We all experienced some of the best tennis coaching we have ever had and learned a lot of practical and tactical tips to take away. It is not a typical resort setting like you might find with other academies but that is because the focus is just on tennis. And it is located in a beautiful part of Spain and very easily accessible from Valencia. If you are looking for a pure tennis camp experience for adults or kids - this is where you should go!

Todo staff, las personas trabajan con dedicación. Quiero destacar los conocimientos, los ejercicios en pista, la disponibilidad para aclarar cualquiera duda a respecto de la técnica del tenis de mi entrenador Jeremy. The academy reflects the legacy of Juan Carlos Ferrero, whose early training history is clearly embedded in its culture. The level of care provided by the staff is exceptional. The academy is comprehensively equipped, offering a gym, physiotherapy services, an excellent restaurant, village-style hotel accommodation for parents, and structured adult training programs. Players reside within the campus, fostering a strong sense of community. Having Juan Carlos Ferrero living on campus is highly motivating for the players and further strengthens the academy’s professional tennis culture. In addition to tennis training, the academy provides paddle courts, a swimming pool, high-quality accommodation, dedicated study rooms, and outstanding facilities overall. The coaches are approachable, professional, and genuinely committed to each player’s development. From a parent’s perspective, the campus experience was equally rewarding. Engaging with families from diverse national backgrounds and observing the high standard of play among the students was truly inspiring. The coaching was of an exceptionally high standard professional, motivating, and clearly tailored to each player’s level. What really stood out was the academy’s professionalism and organisation. Experiencia fantástica: I spent a week at the JC Ferrero Tennis Academy doing the adult program with additional private lessons, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My coach, José, was excellent — patient, knowledgeable, and really focused on helping me make meaningful improvements in my game. I genuinely feel like I’m leaving as a better player. During my stay, there was also a junior tournament happening, and it was inspiring to watch the young players compete — a great reminder of the high-level tennis environment the academy creates. The food and accommodation were both very good, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even smoother. The lessons groups were very small, allowing for lots of individual attention. As a result, my serve improved dramatically! I am planning to return next summer!

Experiencia fantástica: Estuvimos el primer fin de semana de octubre, coincidiendo con la final del Challenger. Sólo puedo decir que la experiencia ha sido única. Fué un regalo de 50 cumpleaños que hice a una persona muy especial para entrenar de manera intensiva y, desde el primer contacto que tuve con la Academia, todo fueron facilidades y amabilidad por parte de staff. El entrenador, Manu, además de ser un gran profesional, nos transmitió ser una gran persona. El entrenamiento, en pista de tierra batida muy, muy cuidada, de 10, nivelazo. Todo el equipo, desde Diana, Anaís y todos (perdonad pero no llegué a saber vuestros nombres), hicieron lo posible por hacernos sentir como en casa. La piscina muy agradable y el restaurante recomendable, muy cómoda la pensión completa. La cabaña donde nos alojamos, confortable y todo el recinto ideal para descansar, desconectar. Tuvimos la gran suerte de ver la final del Challenger, con Pablo Carreño quien, además, tuvo la amabilidad de hacerse una foto con nosotras. En fin, que ya somos incondicionales de la Academia y estamos deseando volver pero, la próxima vez, más tiempo. Muchas gracias equipazo, sois los mejores

Experiencia fantástica: I took part in a weekly adult course at the Ferrero Tennis Academy at the beginning of September: it was simply a fantastic experience. The course is perfectly organized in terms of exercises, pace, and intensity; the focus on the students is paramount and allows you to quickly improve your technique and game. The best part, however, was our coach Amaranta. It's not easy to find so much passion, professionalism, energy, and patience in one person: she's contagious! Experiencia fantástica: By far the best tennis academy or experience I have had. The training in court twice a day helped me develop every part of my game. Also having private gym sessions and physio sessions on top of this was so individualised and focused on any specific injuries or prevention I needed. Any request I had from the staff was done asap. Experiencia fantástica: I attended the academy for a week with a friend (adults program) and it has been an absolutely fantastic experience! It’s a truly immersive 360-degree tennis journey where every detail is taken care of. The rooms in the hotel are clean and every meal is included. Our coach, Amaranta, was simply the best—patient, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable. She guided us with great attention, correcting our movements and pushing us to improve while keeping the sessions fun and engaging. Experiencia fantástica: My son attended the Summer Stage this year for a total of 4 consecutive weeks. What an amazing experience he had! All the coaches were highly invested in the development of the players, both on and the court. The facilities for the players was excellent, my son enjoyed the entire experience. The food was very good for the players, as well as in the restaurant. He made new friends from around the world, and still chats with them regularly. I saw my son grow exponentially in his tennis ability, but also grew to be more confident on and off the court. l almost had to drag him away from Ferrero Academy - he did not want to leave! The staff, from office management, coaches, and even housekeeping were all lovely to deal with. Special applause to Anaïs and Diana. And coach Manu is an amazing coach and by far my son's favourite! From the parent perspective, the accommodations in the Hotel Rural were 5 star. Nicely appointed and clean rooms. The internet quality was excellent, as l had to work remotely during our stay. If your child has aspirations of professional tennis, just loves the game, or wants an amazing life experience and making new friends - Ferrero is the place. The surrounding area of Villena and Caudete are lovely places to visit. Lots of local history to explore. The Atalaya Castle in Villena is one of the best l have visited. We plan on returning to Ferrero Academy as often as possible, hopefully for Annual Competition. We are already booking our next visit for November!

Experiencia positiva: Mes deux garçons de 13 et 16 ans, (15/1 les deux) ont passé une semaine en stage cet été. Ils ont adoré l'ambiance très internationale du camp mais ont été déçu du niveau des groupes. Ils ont joué avec des français 15/5 et d'autres jeunes étrangers mais équivalent niveau 15/5. Nous avons discuté par mail plusieurs fois avec la responsable. Mon fils ainé qui était très irrité car pas entendu par ses entraineurs a pu changer de groupe au quatrième jour mais mon second fils (qui a fait trois matchs pour visualiser correctement son niveau et qui n'a perdu qu'un seul jeu) n'a pas changé de groupe et la seule remarque qu'on lui ait faite durant la semaine a été "perfect" donc peu constructif... En conclusion parfait pour des joueurs type "loisir +" mais peut-être que pour des joueurs habitués à la compétition il faut être plus exigeant lors de l'inscription au stage.

Experiencia negativa: Mostly a negative experience. It is not worth what you paid for. Summer Camp not for kids below 13 or 14 y/o. Poor organization, zero communication with the parents. They rarely get to play on clay courts as these are mostly used by the players from the academy or paying adults. (You come to Spain to play on red clay). They are assigned to one coach for the whole week, it is a hit or a miss. No senior coach supervising. Best coaches remain with the permanent players. The service at the restaurant is terrible, the waiters never say hello or smile, service is ultra slow even with an empty restaurant, they always miss something from your order, the food could be good or terrible depending on the day. We visited multiple restaurants in all Alicante and people are extremely nice and warm. I don't know where they bring their staff from. However, maintenance people are very nice and work well, keeping rooms clean and tidy in the hotel. In the camp, food for kids lack options and it is mostly not good. My son had to eat with us paying extra money. Besides, facilities lack comfort. I saw the Kids rooms and they are cramped and have to share bathrooms.Kids are poorly supervised. It is probably tennis-wise a good academy for older players and aspiring pros but not a good summer Camp, much less for the price you pay.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Ferrero Tennis Academy for both juniors and adults! We have been blown away especially by how they handled my son's illness and the need to go to the doctor. My son was checked in at the academy and he got sick when my wife and I were already on our way to the US. Several people from the academy took turns and they took my son to the doctor and then they stayed with him 24/7, including overnight when he was in the hospital. Diana, Patricia, Miguel Angel, Sandra and Lauren have been amazing! When we video called, we could see my son in pain and in the arms of Sandra for instance, I think she took care of him like a mom. Diana has been in constant contact with us and she spent the night in the hospital with him. That must have been uncomfortable for her and I cannot thank her enough! When I got back there, everyone was asking about my son and they seemed genuinely worried about him. My son spent about 2 weeks at the academy in June of 2025 (until he got sick) and I've done one week of adult tennis as well. The coaches have been excellent, especially Juan Pablo made an impression on my son as he was very kind and he worked a lot with my son in his first week. I think Juan Pablo was one big reason why my son begged us to stay longer and extend by 2 more weeks. Second week he had Felipe and Cankat as tennis coaches and they have been amazing as well, working really well with my son and the other kids. More importantly, even after the illness episode of my son, upon returning to the US, I could see huge improvements in his tennis game. Way better serve, amazing second serve, playing more cross court, improved backhand, improved volleys. I could not believe my eyes when I saw him in the tennis clinic back in the US, how much better he could play after only 2 weeks at the academy. I do have to be honest however, when I was watching him at the academy I could not detect “the magic sauce”. The results afterwards however speak for themselves and it did feel like magic seeing such huge improvements. The academy also gave a pretty nice set of written evaluations and instructions afterwards. I also had a positive experience with Ama and Elady in adults' tennis. They are very nice, knowledgeable and they adapted to my needs and abilities. Ama seems very experienced and has an excellent method. The grounds of the academy are beautiful, there is a good number of courts, the food at the restaurant is fabulous, the rooms are clean, decent, however this is a relatively no frills place with a focus on tennis. I was joking that in some ways it reminds me of checking in into a monastery, except that the focus is different here. Don't expect a long menu at the restaurant for instance, however do expect the best salads you've ever had, and I think they are different every day. The food in general is very good and well presented. The coffee, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, amazing as well. Also amazing to see the pictures of JC Ferrero with his trophies, including the Davis Cup, taken in the dining area where we basically ate every day. We also saw JC one day eating there. Amazing to see the pictures of Carlos Alcaraz as well and to know that this is where he trained. We also saw Darwin Blanch, sometimes training on the next court over to my son. Darwin is of the best juniors in the world and playing on the pro tour as well. Unfortunately my son did not get to meet Carlos Alcaraz at the academy, as we were there during the Roland Garros. Hopefully next year, or maybe we will be lucky and we will get close to Carlitos for a picture at one of the US tournaments, maybe in Cincinnati. Good luck Carlitos! Experiencia fantástica: We spent one week in a padel camp at the Ferrero Tennis Academy this April. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience and we are already planning to come back next year. The atmosphere at the academy is very supportive and welcoming. Starting from the welcome tour by Timur, who helped coordinate our visit and organize everything, and was supporting us during the whole stay – to the coaches who made sure I was making progress and at the same time was enjoying the experience – and to all other staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. We had two padel training sessions per day, 1,5h in the morning and 1h in the afternoon. My coach Manu Bordera was doing everything he could to help me improve my technics and progress in my padel game. I felt that he really cared and never gave up, even in situations when some things were harder to master than the others. Frankly, one week at the Ferrero Academy gave me a bigger padel skills boost than > six months of weekly classes at my local padel clubs. Accommodation was outstanding too – we lived in a newly built guest houses which were super clean and comfortable, cleaning was on a daily basis. I also liked the food which was healthy and delicious at the same time. To sum up, it was a great experience and I can definitely highly recommended it to anyone looking for a short-term padel camp in Europe. Thanks and until next time!

Experiencia fantástica: Ich habe im November 2024 am Adult Programme der Akademie teilgenommen. Es war eine tolle Woche. Das Umfeld der Akademie ist sehr familiär. Alle meine Anliegen (Flughafentransfer) wurden umgehend gelöst. Die Unterbringung im "Rural Hotel" ist einfach aber für einen Sporturlaub super ausreichend. Ich hatte einige Videokonferenzen während der Woche - das WLAN war dafür ausreichend schnell. Die Verpflegung war für mich fantastisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut - Mittag- und Abendessen auch, jeweils mit Auswahlmöglichkeiten und einer guten Getränkeauswahl. Das Tennistraining war super - im Vergleich zu den Kids in der Akademie waren wir Erwachsenen natürlich deutlich schwächer - aber das Training in der Gruppe hat dazu geführt, dass ich meine selbstgesetzten Ziele für die Woche gut erreicht habe. Experiencia fantástica: Wir haben schon viele Tennis Camps besucht, das Ferrero-Camp war bisher das beste. Eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre und super kompetente Coaches haben meinem Sohn und mir eine tolle Woche beschert.

Experiencia positiva: Fuimos a un torneo.La academia está muy bien , las pistas de tierra bien cuidadas , las de dura una locura de pistas , tenían banquillos de sillón , eso era súper cómodo .El restaurante no estaba tan mal el menú estaba muy rico y tenían otro puesto de barbacoa que hacían bocadillos y ese tipo de cosas , y tenían trataban súper bien y estaba muy rico. A mejorar como puede ser que en una academia de tanto prestigio no tengan luz las pistas de tierra todas menos una , pero lo demás muy bien y muy bonito el ambiente , seguro que repetiremos .

Experiencia fantástica: My experience in the Ferrero Tennis Academy was a great pleasure ! I stayed there for 3 weeks, withtout accomodation but with a private adult program. My main coach, Manu, was very kind, skilful and listened to all my demands and questions. He was always telling me that if I had any problems, I should just tell him to find solutions. His main goal was to give me the best experience possible and he really wanted me to enjoy my 3 weeks as much as possible. The other coaches that I had were also really skilful, explaining me very specific aspects of tennis and helping me improve different technical and tactical aspects. Thanks to Carlos, Gabriel and Jérémie for their motivation. Moreover, my fitness coach Miguel Angel was also very kind, adapting our sessions to what I wanted and explaining me differents elements to prevent injuries. Everybody seems happy and motivated to help, which was great. In general, every person that I met was kind and careful, listening to all my demands or questions. People from the reception office or the restaurant were very friendly and made me feel almost at home. For the future, I think it could be great if the restaurant includes a vegetarian option everyday. I would offer more options for people who would prefer not to eat meat or fish. But in general, it was great and I highly recommand this academy for every tennis lover :)

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really positive experience at the JC Ferrero Adult Camp. The atmosphere was supportive, encouraging, and challenging thanks in large part to Coach Carlos, who was not only knowledgeable but also motivating throughout the sessions. Majority of residents are juniors, so your social interaction may be limited as an adult. However, in my week, the other 4 adults attending the private or group sessions and I bonded. The camp structure was well-balanced, with two daily sessions — a longer session in the morning and a shorter one later in the day. The gym add-on sessions were a highlight for me as a gym enthusiast; I learned a lot about injury prevention and strength exercises that will definitely help my game long-term. Additionally, management is really flexible and responsive to your needs during the stay. I started in the group program, but then they were able to accommodate my desire to switch to private lessons mid-week. Accommodation was comfortable and clean — and made it easy to relax mid day or after a long day of training. You can spend downtime in the morning or evening in the restaurant area. Food was fine, nothing to write home about. Staff in the restaurant was really kind. Only a few nits for improvement: the bikes in the gym could use an upgrade or replacement, and a larger gym space would be great. That said, they are actively working on construction and expansion, so it’s clear they’re investing in improving the facilities. The only downside was the case of rain — there’s only one indoor court, but the staff was accommodating and made sure adult campers were prioritized. It was impressive the communication from the coaches and the extra energy they brought in tough circumstances. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The staff was professional and warm, and the level of coaching and insight into the tennis world was top-notch. I left feeling motivated and with a deeper understanding of my game. Highly recommend and will be back!

Experiencia negativa: Estuve viendo un torneo de tenis y todo perfecto y cuando llegué al bar a pedir un bocadillo me dijeron que tardaría 40 min ( en el bar no había ningún cliente), cuando volví a los 40 min me encuentro con un bocadillo donde el lomo parecía lonchas de jamón de lo finas que eran y el pan que era chicle, vamos incomible, parece mentira que este lugar tenga este servicio y calidad, vergonzoso, a la repuesta que me han dado desde aquí, solo he estado 1 VEZ y lo del compañero que le dió un ictus no tuvo que ser ese día, hace 3 semanas y por allí no apareció ni ambulancia ni nada y tampoco estaba el personal nervioso, y repito es la primera vez que he estado allí, pero gracias por la respuesta, No volveré tranquilos, solo espero que vuestro compañero siga bien

Experiencia fantástica: Spent a week in mid December for the adults program. A very professional environment which makes you focus on nothing else but tennis. Even as a beginner / improver you catch onto the level of ambition from coaches and players pursuing tennis at the highest levels. The kids who come for the program train with the pro kids which is a major benefit. In the adults program the coach to player ratio was 1:2, it varies depending on number of participants for the week. Definitely one of the most physically demanding weeks I've had but was very refreshing to focus only on tennis that week. I ended up adding private lessons every day, playing around ~20 hours for the week (adults program is 3h coaching a day for 5 days). Total cost including private lessons was around EUR1.5-1.6k which included accommodation, food, and the program. JCF is a bit less commercialised than some of the other academies. Gabriel my coach did a fantastic job as did the staff in the rest of the academy. We saw Juan Carlos Ferrero but missed Alcaraz who arrived the following week for pre-season training.

Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing month at Ferrero Tennis Academy with my son Boris. The coaches are highly professional and truly care about each player’s development. The training is intense, well-structured, and really helped Boris improve his game. The facilities are excellent, and the atmosphere is very motivating. In just one month, Boris has grown a lot as a player and as a person. A big thank you to the entire team! We’re looking forward to coming back.

I'm sure it's good for kids Speaking from my own experience as a casual adult player - Was assigned a coach called Luis who obviously didn't care about my training or tennis. He had a very condescending and dismissive attitude; all he did was stand still and feed balls over to me. He seemed very checked out from the start. If i was looking for someone to feed me balls i might as well have gone a coach from my hometown, or even a ball machine. He made snide comments about my tennis every session. 5 sessions with this guy killed my love for the game When I was there, 95+% of the participants were kids between 12 and 18 aiming to be pro, so there's no-one my level or age to play with or even socialize with, so for the one week you're basically spending 3 hours per day with your coach and that's it. I was looking for a camp where I could meet people around my level (between 3.5-4.5) and play some competitive games everyday, but that was not possible at all. I don't think the coaches at the camp are invested in the adults; the kids are their core customers, they will come back to train before every tournament, why would they care about the adults? They know the adults are only here for one week. It's just an additional stream of monetization to them, nothing more. One of the worst experiences in my life, given the time and money invested of actually flying over. The experience was so bad that I decided to leave a day earlier to go explore Alicante and they were kind enough to refund the one day. Some of the staff were friendly / helpful; unfortunately not the coach.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been in Ferrero's academy with my son of 9 years old. Was a very nice experience for all of us(me, my wife, and my little daughter). Most of my son's trainings were with Ama, who was amazing. The food was good enough for kids, also the restaurant has no too many options but very good food. If you are looking for good tennis training and not fancy accommodation and luxury facilities, I really recommend this academy. The only thing that can be better is the breakfast for adults and kids. It was the same every day and could be improved. We will be back for sure next year. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Realmente una excelente experiencia la escuela de adultos. Creo que en gran medida se debe al entrenamiento con Amaranta, una coach argentina de muy buen nivel, gran persona por cierto y muy positiva. Se enfoca tanto en lo técnico como en lo táctico y terminas comprendiendo varias cosas para un juego más efectivo; lo que creo que falta es preparación física para el programa de adultos. Igualmente y si haces el programa y te hospedas en el hotel rural tienen un menú para deportistas muy saludable y balanceado, preparado por una nutricionista, sin dejar de ser sabroso y siempre con 2 o hasta 3 alternativas. El hospedaje si bien no es lujoso, esto es bueno pues el enfoque debe ser en el tenis si tu deseo es lograr avances. Lo único que sentí es algo de falta de comunicación con los padres de los niños que hacen el Summer Stage. Por cierto las chicas (Guías o Monitoras) que cuidan a los chicos y los vigilan hacen un trabajo muy profesional y a la vez con mucho carisma y con afecto hacia los chicos.

Mi hijo a estado allí como en casa, todo el personal desde la cocina, limpieza, mantenimiento los chicos que están por la noche vigilando, profesores, entrenadores, fisioterapeutas,hacen un gran trabajo que no es nada fácil cuidar de tantos niños y adolescentes. Experiencia fantástica: Tennis Heaven! This was my second year doing the Adult Program. The academy and accommodations are remote and simple which means the focus is all on tennis in a wonderful way. I was very lucky to train mostly with Amaranta who has infectious energy and focus and who could easily adapt her language and lessons to my learning style, so each day with her I had A-HA moments and felt the progression! I am so very grateful for her coaching and her care in adapting to my injuries. The entire rest of the staff is all very warm and welcoming, from the restaurant to the main office, the cleaning staff, the coaches, physios, and the fitness team. I did some fun fitness sessions with Miguel, who is very patient and also takes a lot of care in teaching properly to achieve shared goals. There is also a spritely dog named Lima who trots around lifting everyone's spirits and beautiful roses all around the campus. Recommend if you want a no-nonsense focused experience with tennis being the main goal and are ok with simple food and accommodations.

Experiencia negativa: He estado en la academia haciendo el programa de adultos, venía con muchísima ilusión y ganas de aprender, disfrutar y mejorar. Pues me voy totalmente desilusionado y decepcionado, no solo no he mejorado sino que creo que me voy con pero tenis del que vine. El programa ni es individualizado, ni se trabajan errores técnicos como se dice en la web, es una programa donde te tiran bolas a la derecha y al revés de todas las maneras y te dicen porque has fallado la bola pero no te enseñan a corregirlo con ejercicios, simplemente se lanzan bolas y búscate la vida. No nos entrenaron el cortado,ni la dejada. El saque 30 min de reloj y las voleas no llego a una clase. Los programas pone que son de hora y media y tampoco es cierto de las 11 clases dimos 5 de hora y media y las otras de hora y cuarto. En mi caso me pusieron con alguien de distinto nivel que a mi me perjudico. En cuanto al hotel, es normal, nada del otro mundo pero si te toca vecinos que hablen se oye todo. Y el restaurante muy malo, la comida deja mucho que desear. Lo mejor el personal que es muy majo y las pistas de tenis que son una pasada. Me voy de aquí con muchísima pena y tristeza, me había decantado por esta academia por la admiración y el respeto que tengo por Ferrero pero me he equivocado totalmente. Si queréis mejorar, invertir el dinero en un entrenador que quiera enseñaros. Ojalá pudiera poner otra reseña, porque venía con muchísima ilusión y ganas, pero me las han quitado. El colmo que Google me quita la reseña por no cumplir las normas. Increíble

Experiencia fantástica: I spend 1 week at Ferrero Academy with my boy in the U12 Program. Everything was perfect, the coaches (both tennis and fitness) was involved and treat us with professionalism. Everybody from academy was very nice with us and we felt excelent.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent a wonderful week at the adults tennis programme. Coaches were excellent, with a class ratio of 2 players per coach. The tennis facilities are incredible and the academy is a great place to get away from everything and focus on improving your game. Amateurs also have the opportunity to learn a lot while watching the young and future pros train. As other reviewers have pointed out, the hotel needs an update, but my room was clean and comfortable and had all I needed after a long and active day. The full board food was good (although not particularly varied) and all the staff, both tennis and hospitality, were friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Estuvimos este pasado fin de semana del 3 de marzo en la academia, en el torneo de Pickleball Mediterranean Open que se celebró. Nos ha encantado la experiencia, todas las instalaciones, la atención del personal, la estancia fue todo estupendo. En nuestro caso que teniamos cama supletoria nos lo dejaron todo preparado y estuvimos super a gusto. Habia espacio enorme de armarios para poder tener todo colocado y a mano. En cuanto a las comidas habia una barra abierta prácticamente todo el dia para tomar algo que eso se agradece un monton. La cena de gala que se celebro también fue estupenda y lo pasamos fenomenal. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo porque hemos vuelto encantados, esperamos volver pronto.

Experiencia fantástica: Estuve en la Academia de JC Ferrero y pasé dos noches en en hotel con mi hijo. Jugamos el II Mediterranean Open de Pickleball. Las instalaciones están muy bien. El hotel son habitaciones en cabañas de madera bien equipadas y con todo lo necesario. Camas amplias y cómodas. Fue muy cómodo tener el alojamiento dentro de las instalaciones. Todo el personal es de 10, atentos, agradables y preocupados por que todo estuviera bien. Solo hubo un pequeño problema con el agua caliente que resolvieron. Gracias por este fin de semana!

Experiencia fantástica: Este fin de semana tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de las instalaciones de la academia, competimos en el torneo de Pickleball y no tuvimos la necesidad de salir de la instalación ya que dormimos, cominos y disfrutamos de los espacios naturales que disponen. Destacar el estupendo trato de todos los trabajadores de la misma desde recepción, bar y personal responsable de la academia además de que puedes ir con tu animal de compañía. Recomendable 100%

Experiencia fantástica: He estado en la Academia en dos ocasiones por motivos de trabajo, en la organización del Mediterranean Open de Pickleball, y la experiencia ha sido muy buena. Destaco, sobre todo, la calidez humana de todo el personal (desde la limpieza hasta la dirección), siempre pendiente de lo que puedas necesitar ;) Sin duda, una de las academias de tenis más prestigiosas que permite la celebración de eventos internacionales no sólo de tenis y pádel, sino de deportes en crecimiento como el pickleball. Experiencia negativa: Buenas noches. Estoy completamente de acuerdo con la reseña de Kutxi Pacheco. Yo también asistí al torneo y no es cierto que solo ella tuviera problemas. Varios compañeros no tuvieron agua caliente ni calefacción. El sábado cuando volvimos de cenar y había llovido y un compañero se encontró con el baño inundado por una gotera. Por cierto cuando ustedes dicen que tiene calefacción la habitación deberían explicar que consiste en un solo radiador en el cuarto de baño. Como dice la compañera el precio es excesivo para lo que ofrece y la calidad/precio deja mucho que desear. Creo que deberían intentar mejorar. Un saludo

Experiencia negativa: No puedo valorar la escuela ni sus instalaciones deportivas pero si el hotel. El fin de semana del 1al 3 de marzo se celebró un torneo de pickleball y me quedé en la academia de Ferrero y pasé dos noches. La noche han sido 97€/noche. No corresponde a lo que ofrece el hotel. Una cabaña prefabricada, mal mantenida. No funcionaba la calefacción del baño, el agua caliente era una lotería y todo el mobiliario de la habitación era deficiente y obsoleto. La habitación estaba helada y solo tenías la bomba de calor con un ruido insoportable Ha sido una gran decepción. Lo importante de un negocio es que el cliente vuelva. Yo no volveré y no lo recomiendo. Hay hoteles más económicos en Villena y con mayor confort. En resumen una ESTAFA

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing 1-week in the adult program. The coach was very experienced and dedicated to helping me identify the most critical areas to improve and get plenty of solid practices throughout the week. I was lucky enough to have 1:1 lessons throughout the week, but heard that the lesson size was always kept small to ensure the level of attention. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The room condition and the food, as mentioned in other posts, were quite basic, but I am satisfied with the quality and level of care. I would highly recommend the program to anyone who is serious about improving his/her level of playing while having a quality vacation time.

Experiencia negativa: Mandé a mi hijo de 10 años al curso de verano y creo que deberían revisar la edad en la que aceptan a los niños. No se ocupan nada de ellos, el tiempo libre no está organizado, hacen lo que quieren por la noche sin apenas supervisión. Creo que son detalles importantes que hay que mencionar antes de aceptar a niños tan pequeños. La comunicación con el club no es fácil tampoco cuando tienes un problema.

Experiencia fantástica: I have visited twice already, once with the whole family and once just with my son and have experienced both the adults' programme and the junior programmes (through the kids). The coaching is of very high standard and it is really inspiring to see the academy players in action. Children can expect a full-on tennis and fitness programme delivered by really experienced coaches and trainers. The adult programme is great, with 90 minute sessions morning and afternoon and the coaches really take pride in it. The courts are of really good quality and very well maintained. Full-board is great value for money. The rooms are simple and just right for the idea of a holiday that is focussed on tennis and fitness. Rooms are cleaned every day to really good standards. The friendliness of the staff makes you feel like home and the academy has a genuinely down to earth, friendly ethos which is plausible, considering the calibre of players that they have already produced. I am already planning the next visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Nuestro hijo Arys ha estado en Equelite, durante el verano del 2022, un mes y este 2023 otro mes. La experiencia ha sido inigualable porque el equipo de Equelite cuida hasta el más mínimo detalle el entrenamiento de competición para que los niñ@s se sientan como en familia : 1) Comida supervisada por nutricionista-dietista, haciendo énfasis en cada niño , lo que debe mejorar, por ejemplo, comer ensaladas, verduras y ademas de la explicación detallada de porqué, utiliza la persuasión para convencerlos de que coman. 2) La comida está exquisita, (uno de nuestros temores la primera vez que estuvo nuestro hijo en el verano del 2022, era si comería bien o no, ) y sí es cierto, la comida está exquisita, ya que nos quedamos fines de semana en el hotel Rural de Equelite y la comida estaba deliciosa, de hecho, el restaurante es muy recomendable. 3) La atención , tanto de los camareros, como recepcionistas, marketing es detallista y trato muy familiar. 4) Los niños, además de disfrutar de un ambiente muy sano ( no se permite alcohol ni fumar y móviles solo durante 8,30 pm a 10 pm ...) , están acompañados por monitores continuamente, con actividades después de los entrenamientos. 5) Además vienen niños de todo el mundo con lo que siguen practicando los idiomas y conviven con otras culturas. 6) Y por si fuera poco, los jugadores profesionales, Pablo Carreño, el numero 1 del mundo Carlos Alcaraz, el Director de la Academia Ferrero o su Presidente, son como uno más, sonrien , saludan, se toman fotos con los niños, firman en camisetas , gorras, claro, todo sin atosigarles y respetando sus rutinas, es decir, estan entrenando con los mejores, sintiendose uno más del grupo y eso hace a Equelite una experiencia única.

Experiencia fantástica: Our boys, ages 13 and 16, spent three and six weeks, respectively, at Equelite this summer. We learned about Equelite from close friends whose children are strong junior players in the Eastern USTA section, and had spent a year at the academy and loved it. Communication was very good during the registration process, and Inaki and Diana were very helpful in getting us set up for their stay. The boys travelled by themselves from NY to Alicante, stopping in Madrid. Diana arranged for an airport pickup. The taxi driver contacted me a few days before their arrival and shared information and his photo. Pickup was seamless. They arrived at the academy, were welcomed, and shown to their house. They were happy with the accommodation, food, off-campus activities, general sense of camaraderie with other players, and evening independence, which included lots of pickup soccer and ping pong tournaments. As part of the experience our kids lived with and developed friendships with many other players from around the world. In that sense, it was a truly unique and enriching experience outside the tennis court. The tennis was also great, and they connected very well with the coaches and really stepped up their on and off court fitness work. They were there for several weeks, so many campers came and left during their stay. Equelite did a very good job assessing and placing the boys in a competitive environment each week. Also very exciting was meeting and watching pros like Carlos Alcarez, Carrena Busta, and Karolina Pliskova, who stopped in to train after Wimbledon. I highly recommend Equelite if your child loves to play and is looking for a unique experience. Diana and Inaki went above and beyond to be sure the boys enjoyed their time.

Experiencia fantástica: This is by far and away the best Padel Academy I have ever been to. The coaching staff are incredible, the meals are 5 star and the accommodation is quality. I'm from London and I am so glad I found this Academy, I cannot thank them enough. This will be my go to retreat with my squad during the year; simply put - if you want to see how Padel is played, and you want to get to a level that few are able to achieve, this is the place to go. It's a family environment; one that focuses on improving every aspect of your game. Only wish there were 6 stars available.

Mi hija ha estado una semana, fue sola sin conocer a nadie y en un par de horas ya tenia amigas y estaba totalmente integrada. Experiencia fantástica: Éramos 30 para comer en el bar del Club, el menú parecía sencillo pero nos sorprendió, la ensaladilla de merluza buenísima, las sepias con ajetes tb, de plato pedí lubina a la espalda espectacular. El sitio es muy agradable, muy sencillo, buena piscina y mucha gente joven por ahí, futuras estrellas del tenis. Es muy fácil ver por aquí a Carlitos.

Experiencia fantástica: My son spent a week at JC Fererro Academy in June. He has played at several different tennis academies in Europe and the U.S. so far the JC Ferrero is the best. The training session is well prepared and coaches are experienced and professional . If you are serious about tennis, the academy is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: This tennis academy is a place where everyone cares so deeply about the growth and well being of an athlete. The tennis training is exceptional that is for sure. But I have to say everyone is 100% invested in applying all of their experience and knowledge with the players. The physiotherapists, physical trainers, nutritionist, psychologist, facility management, school teachers, front office staff, lawyers, nutritional staff and of course the tennis coaches show up everyday with an encouraging attitude and growth mindset. They give all they have for every player as if you are the only one in the academy. It truly is a close family. Thank you to all the staff who work tirelessly to achieve goals, teach, and exemplify what being a professional athlete is all about. We are from America and I am so very grateful that my son gets to train in the best academy in the world.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing this review to try to assist any other (particularly British) parents considering taking their child to the Ferrero Academy for dedicated tennis training (or indeed considering any tennis academy in Europe and trying to choose between them). Our own background - our son is 11y, has been playing 6 years including tournament play for 4 years. We have attended the Sánchez-Casal Academy (please see my other review) and whilst that was excellent, we thought it would be a good idea to try out another academy. The choices are - as those reading this review will know - Mouratoglou’s, Nadal’s and Ferrero’s respective academies in France or Spain. I chose Ferrero’s and we travelled there for a week in May/June 2023. Below I summarise and list the positive points and negative points. Summary - A substandard academy with poor accommodation, poor food and an inattentive coaching schedule relevant to the needs of the player. It is worse than the Sánchez-Casal academy by some way and we will not be returning here. If we do any more academy stays, we will either go back to Sánchez-Casal or we will try Nadal. Positive points - 1. Coaching staff all always friendly, smiley and interacting well with the children (contrast this to some reviews of Mouratoglou which specifically mention how disinterested some coaches were - a major reason why I chose not to book there) 2. Excellent and free WiFi throughout the whole facility - I was able to conduct business meetings remotely without any issues. Negative points - 1. Very poor standard of accommodation - our hut had a leaking roof (see photos) - the fix offered was a bucket to catch the rain and unscrewing the light fitting so we didn’t electrocute ourselves; a faulty air conditioner which meant that we basically didn’t sleep at night when running it. 2. Very poor standard of food in the players dining room - although this is “included” in the fee paid, I have to say that it not only looked incredibly unappealing but also bordered on inedible. I had to pay for lunches and dinners for my son in the restaurant. 3. Highly variable standard of food in the parents / guests restaurant - on some days, food was prepared well, on other days - raw steak or fish, sandwiches made with half the ingredients listed on the menu. 4. Utterly bizarre attitude of some (non-coaching) staff - eg in the restaurant, entirely possible to stand at the desk to order and yet simply be ignored by the waiter (sometimes for maybe 20 minutes) - no acknowledgement, greeting or even a smile. Utterly bizarre. 5. Very limited English speaking skills amongst some non-coaching staff - this manifested many times with trying to order food in the restaurant but also in places like the tennis shop (e.g despite going there twice in the week to try to buy a pair of shoes for my son, each time the person in the shop essentially could not understand a word of English and fobbed me off. Net result? I just ordered the shoes online!). 6. Finally - and I think this is the most unforgivable aspect - the lack of individualised coaching for my son. Despite making a clear list of requirements for him in terms of his training (eg a need to really work on clay court movement as he has little access to the surface in the UK - not a SINGLE session was organised on clay - despite the fact that 90% of the academies surfaces are clay!), absolutely none of these were addressed during the week. Utterly, utterly inexplicable. There are more examples of how the schedule of coaching was unacceptable but I won’t list them here. A very disappointing experience - so caveat emptor!
